Vanilla Infused Massage Oil
1/2 Cup Jojoba oil
1/2 Cup Almond oil
1 vanilla bean pod
5 drops of vanilla essential oil
Chop the vanilla bean pod into 3 to 4 pieces. Combine oils in a double boiler on the stove. Add vanilla bean pod and gentle warm oil so that the aroma of the pod infuses with the oil. Take oil off the heat and allow to cool with the pod pieces in it.
Use cheese cloth to strain the oil.
Add Essential oil, Mix well.
Place in a pump bottle
Edible Body Butter
1/2 Cup of Cocoa butter
1/8 Cup coconut oil
1 TBS Vanilla extract
1 1/2 TBS Chocolate cocoa powder
1 tsp cinnamon powder
2 TBS Tapioca powder
Combine cocoa butter, coconut oil, vanilla extract chocolate and cinnamon in a bowl and mix with hand mixer. Add tapioca powder and mix till fluffy.
Place in a pretty jar.
*Note if consistency is not thick enough add an extra TBS of tapioca powder and continue to mix.
Hibiscus & Cashew Dessert Mouse
1 Cup Raw Cashews soaked over night or for at least 8 hours
1/4 Cup Water
1 Tsp dried hibiscus
1/4 Cup Honey
1/4 Cup Coconut oil
1/4 tsp salt
2 Cups strawberries
Heat 1/4 cup water, remove from heat add hibiscus and steep 5 minutes, then strain.
Combine hibiscus tea, honey, coconut oil and salt. Heat till oil and honey melt.
In a blender or processor combine hibiscus mixture, drained cashews and strawberries. Mix until creamy and smooth.
Serve with an assortment of berries and a light dusting of chocolate powder.
Damiani & Spice Cordial
1 Ounce Damiana leaves
1 Ounce Passion Flower
1/2 Ounce Rose Petals
6 Cardamom pods
3 star anise
3 Cups Brandy
1/2 Cup Honey
Place all herbs in a quart sized glass canning jar
Pour Brandy over herbs
Place a lid on the jar and place in a cool dark place.
Shake daily for 4 weeks.
Strain liquid through a coffee filter to remove herbs
Add honey and stir
*Note the longer you let the herbs sit in the brandy the better your cordial will be.
