Sweet & Savory Ginger Chicken


1/4 C Brown Sugar

3 TBS Soy Sauce

2 Cloves Garlic

2 TBS Fresh Ginger grated

Pepper to taste

1 TBS Cooking oil

2 LB Chicken cubed

1/2 TBS Cooking OIl

2 Green Onion sliced

Handful of Sesame Seeds

  • Mix first 6 ingredients together and whisk.  Pour into a zip lock or ceramic dish to make marinade

  • Add cubed chicken to marinade and allow to marinade for 30 minutes or longer.

  • Remove chicken from marinade and heat in pan with 1/2 TBS of oil until chicken is brown.

  • Remove chicken from pan and set a side

  • Add marinade to hot pan bring to a boil and reduce to a thick sauce.

  • Add Chicken to pan and allow to heat

  • Garnish with green onion and sesame seeds

  • Serve with rice, or over glass noodles, over zoodles or on a bed of cool crisp spinach.
